The Federal Open Market Committee meets for the first time during the Trump Administration.
Bankrate.com's Greg McBride says they aren't expected to raise interest rates yet, but you should be ready when they do.
"Pay down your credit card debt or balance transfer over to one of those 0% offers to insulate yourself from rising interest rates and if you have an adjustable rate mortgage, give strong consideration to refinancing," said McBride.
Fed Chair Janet Yellen is not scheduled to hold a press conference after the the meeting wraps Wednesday. The central bank will release its statement at 2 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday.
