The man paralyzed by a Palm Beach Sheriff's Office deputy's bullet in 2013 is heading to jail on drug charges.
On Monday a Palm Beach judge sentenced Dontrell Stephens to nine-months behind bars. However, his attorney says a pre-arranged deal will have him released Tuesday, serving the rest of his term under house arrest.
Last year a jury awarded Stephens more than $22 million after determining the deputy used excessive force.
