Florida Woman Caught Hiding Marijuana Inside Her Body During Traffic Stop

Early Monday morning, a Flagler County deputy pulled over a vehicle speeding on SR-11. The vehicle, driven by 34-year-old Darielle Thomas of Palm Coast, was flagged due to the owner's suspended license and history of fleeing law enforcement.

Upon approaching the vehicle, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. A female deputy conducted a search of Thomas and found a hard object in her genital area. Thomas first denied having anything on her, but after learning she could be charged with introducing contraband into jail, she admitted to hiding a baggie of marijuana inside her body.

Thomas was arrested for tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. She was released on a $3,000 bond.

Ryan Gorman, Dana McKay, and Nathalie Rodriguez discussed the incident, along with other big headlines, during Today's Top Stories.
