Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is hoping to raise at least $10 million as part of a multistate fundraising swing for former President Donald Trump.
A DeSantis advisor says he believes "Biden needs to be beaten, and the governor is willing to put the sword down.
The fundraising events will begin as soon as July and likely run through September.
DeSantis also slammed Trump's felony conviction in New York on social media.
"In America, the rule of law should be applied in a dispassionate, even-handed manner, not become captive to the political agenda of some kangaroo court."
