ZooMiami is celebrating a historic birth of a unique bird that looks like an owl...but it's not.
The zoo announced yesterday that for the first time in its history, a tawny frogmouth bird has hatched.
Tawny frogmouths are often mistaken for owls because they have large golden eyes and wide faces.
The tawny frogmouth is described as unique, short and stout, usually between 10 and 20 inches in length and one-and-a-half pounds in weight.
