Move Over Dolphins as the Miami Sharks Rugby Team Takes the Field

If you miss Dolphin football...well...

South Florida's first professional rugby team, the Miami Sharks, have kicked off their first season in Major League Rugby in Fort Lauderdale.

The Sharks' sports an international roster represented by England, Wales, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand Chile, and Florida.

Argentine Tomas Cubelli and Uruguayan Manuel Ardao headline the squad. The head coach, José Pellicena, is also Argentine.

Miami lost to the Chicago Hounds 19-23 in their debut Sunday March 3rd at Florida Blue Turf Field, across from Chase Stadium.
