(Tallahassee, Fla) - Governor DeSantis is claiming victory over Disney after a federal judge yesterday dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Mouse.

Disney filed suit after the state dissolved its long-standing governing body, the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

The company claimed the law violated the constitution and was retaliation for Disney publicly opposing the Parental Rights in Education act. The judge ruled Disney didn't have standing to sue DeSantis and found the law constitutional.

Disney plans to appeal.

DeSantis says, "The ruling makes clear Disney does not have the right to its own special government, and the days of Disney being above the law are over. "
