Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott is infuriated by the exclusion of FSU from the college football playoff.

Sen. Scott calls the decision "illogical" and is demanding the committee answer as to how this decision was made.

FSU alum and Republican State Senator Corey Simon accuses ESPN and Disney of having a vested interest in the SEC participating in the playoffs.

Democratic Congressman Jared Moskowitz says he's filing a resolution condemning the NCAA's decision.

Florida State finished the season undefeated after winning the ACC Championship game against #15 Louisville.

FSU is the first unbeaten Power 5 champion to miss out on the CFP championship since its inception in 2014.

College Football Chair Boo Corrigan admitted that the loss of quarterback Jordan Travis, who suffered a broken leg last month, was "a big factor" in the Seminoles exclusion.

Travis reacted to the snub Sunday saying that he wished “my leg broke earlier in the season so y’all could see this team is much more than the quarterback.”

Instead of appearing in the playoffs, the Noles will play Georgia in the Orange Bowl December 30th in Miami Gardens.

Meanwhile, Travis is up for the Heisman Trophy and finalists will be announced tonight. The winner of the Heisman will be announced on Saturday.
