Amazon founder Jeff Bezos says he's moving from Seattle back to his childhood home of Miami.
The 59-year-old billionaire says he wants to be near his parents and his space company Blue Origin is based in Cape Canaveral.
Bezos purchased a mansion in South Florida for $79 million and a neighboring property for $68 million on Indian Creek Island.
Mr. Bezos is the third richest person in the world with a net worth of $161 billion, according to Bloomberg.
The billionaire called it an emotional decision adding that Seattle "will always have a piece of my heart."
Bezos started Amazon out of his garage in Seattle in 1994.
