Recent studies show Floridians are paying the highest auto insurance premiums in the U.S.

On average, Florida drivers are shelling out $2,560 each year, according to data from FINN

In comparison, the national annual average is $1,682.

The reason? Florida has the highest rate of uninsured drivers in the country.

Data indicates that insured drivers foot the bill for the 20% of drivers who lack even minimum liability insurance.
