If you are traveling this Halloween, you can wear your costume on the plane with some exceptions.
But the TSA says passengers young and old who fly in costume should keep makeup minimal and be ready to remove your mask at the identification checkpoint.
TSA Spokesperson, Lisa Farbstein, says large bags of candy should be removed from carry-on bags and placed in their own bin.
Also, costume props, like hatchets, pitchforks, or brooms must be placed in checked bags.
However, Farbstein says replicas of explosives, including fake grenades, are prohibited in both carry on and checked bags.
