Four people are charged with theft for allegedly stealing dinosaur bones from public lands in Utah and selling them in China.
The Department of Justice says the four, from Utah, Los Angeles and Oregon, were hit with 13 felony charges for stealing and dealing 60 tons of "paleontological resources."
According to the DOJ, the stolen dinosaur bones appeared to have been polished and cut into art and jewelry.
The four are accused of causing up to $3 million in damage including the lost scientific value.
