It was a total surprise when Former President and peanut farmer Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn took part in the Plains Peanut Festival in Georgia on Saturday.
The former president and his wife were seen riding through the festivities in a Black SUV.
Carter, who turns 99 on October first, entered hospice care in February.
The former first lady has been diagnosed with dementia.
The couple just marked their 77th wedding anniversary, extending their record as the nation’s longest-married first couple.
