(Tallahassee, Fla) - A tree fell on the Governor's Mansion as Hurricane Idalia hit the state capitol of Tallahassee. First Lady Casey DeSantis says a 100-year-old oak tree fell on the mansion while she was home with her three children, Madison, Mason and Mamie.

Fortunately, she reports that no one was hurt.

"Our prayers are with everyone impacted by the storm," she wrote in a tweet, sharing a photo of the giant tree that had split through its trunk.

Governor DeSantis moved into the mansion with his family in 2019 after he was elected to the office.
