As NFL teams begin their season this weekend, many sports fans are already wondering about who will headline the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show Feb. 11 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas? Some entertainer names in the mix: Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus and Ed Sheeran.
Unfortunately, all four have reportedly declined to take the spotlight during the halftime show, according to Billboard.
In a recent interview, Sheeran said, “There was a conversation a while ago — I think it was when Coldplay did it — of me going up to play ‘Thinking Out Loud,’” he recalled of the 2016 halftime show. “I think that would be the only way I’d do it, is if I was joining someone else.”
For Swift it's a timing problem. She will be performing in Tokyo and Australia in February with her Eras Tour.
Some other names being considered: Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Drake, Dolly Parton, Jay-Z, Usher and Janet Jackson (without the wardrobe malfunction).
