American Sprinters are the Fastest in the World

(Budapest, Hungary) - Sha’Carri Richardson won the 100-meter world title last night in a personal best 10.65 seconds at the World Athletics Championships in Hungary.

"I'm honored, I'm blessed, I had great competition, [which] pulled the best out of me, and I'm just honored to leave with a gold medal," she told reporters after the race.

Meanwhile, American Noah Lyles is the new fastest man in the world after winning the 100 meters in 9.83 seconds.

Both are medal hopefuls for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
