(Doral, Fla.) -- Volunteer divers searching a lake in Doral say they found 32 submerged cars that could lead to a resolution in several missing persons cold cases.

The volunteer divers say they'll work with law enforcement to remove the vehicles from the lake, and hopefully, investigators can find clues and give some families closure.

Doral Police issued a statement that reads, “We have been informed that a private search company possibly located multiple sunken vehicles in the area of 9064 NW 13th Terr. Although we cannot confirm at this time, we will continue to gather further information in the coming days and work with multiple entities to investigate this matter.”
