Tucker Carlson is providing his first comments following his firing from Fox News.
In a video posted on his Twitter account Wednesday, Carlson didn't go in detail about his firing or future plans, instead delivering vague statements about stepping "outside the noise" and how "stupid" debates on TV are.
He went on to say that there aren't many places left where Americans are "saying true things."
Fox News announced Monday that it was parting ways with Carlson and thanked him for his contributions.
He was Fox's top rated prime time host, with an audience of over three-million viewers per night.
The news comes after the network agreed to pay over 787-million-dollars to settle a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems over the network's coverage of Trump's claims of voter fraud.
