UPDATE: Arnold Schwarzenegger Responds To Pothole Controversy

UPDATE:

Arnold Schwarzenegger is at odds with the Southern California Gas Company.

We told you about the video that went viral on social media of Arnold fixing a pothole himself in Brentwood.

But, SoCal Gas says it wasn't a pothole, it was actually an active service trench.

Schwarzenegger took to Twitter yesterday, saying SoCal Gas finished its pipeline work in the area in January, and the trench had been there for too long adding he "did them a favor" by filling that trench and another pothole as well.

See his response below.

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will have to answer to city officials after accidentally filling in a service trench.

On Tuesday, video of the actor patching a Los Angeles pothole went viral.

Schwarzenegger said members of the community had been complaining about the hole for weeks before he and his team took matters into their own hands.

Yesterday however, the city released a statement saying the location is not a pothole, but "a service trench that relates to active, permitted work being performed" by SOCal Gas.
