Millions of kids grew up as Arthur did, the PBS children's show about a loveable aardvark came to an end this week.
After 25 seasons the series, which first aired in 1996, became TV's the longest running animated children’s show.
Now its creator is talking about Arthur's racial identity.
In an interview with Variety, Marc Brown said even though Brain celebrates Kwanzaa and has family from Senegal, "You know, I myself didn’t really put a race on Arthur. That would be my honest answer."
