The Philadelphia Flyers are struggling this NHL season, and apparently an act of cruel irony is providing the perfect metaphor for how things are going.
After the team fired former head coach Alain Vigneault amid an eight-game losing streak yesterday, a local TV station caught a group of police K-9's surveying the team's arena ... one of them approaching center ice to make a pit stop right on the Flyers' logo.
The K-9's department, the Burlington City Police, tweeting out the video and claiming the dog is "a New York Rangers fan."
