Don't worry mom and dad, it's not your imagination. Your kids' math homework is more complicated than ever before.
A new survey finds that more than half of parents say they feel hopeless when trying to help kids finish their homework. Two-thirds even turn to Google to figure it out.
The OnePoll study found half of us forgot the order of operations and two-thirds failed a simple equation. Photomath sponsored the survey that also found kids ask their parents for homework help five times a week. When they ask, about two-thirds of couples then negotiate which parent will actually get the job done. A whopping 85% of parents said arguments about homework turned into full-fledged fights.
Two-thirds said they don't remember math being so hard when they were in school and most blame "new math."
