A Vegas man is under arrest, accused of swindling the Paycheck Protection Program out of nearly $2-million.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Jorge Abramovs is accused of submitting false claims for assistance using several dummy corporations.
All told, Abramovs allegedly conned the feds out of $1,986,737.46 in PPP loans.
Prosecutors say Abramovs used $260,982 to buy a 2020 Bentley Continental GT Convertible, a 2020 Tesla, and two luxury condos in Las Vegas.
Abramovs made his first court appearance on Friday and remains in federal custody.
