Tourists are once again allowed to visit one of the world's most popular landmarks.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris reopened Thursday, but there are lots of restrictions.
The elevators are closed, so visitors will have to climb nearly 700 steps to reach the first two observation platforms. The tower's highest lookout remains closed.
The 1,063 ft tower has been closed for more than 100 days because of the pandemic. It is the longest closure of the tower since World War II.
All visitors are required to wear masks and there are frequent cleanings of high-touch surfaces.
Another Paris landmark, The Louvre, will reopen July 6th.
