Special Counsel Robert Mueller to Testify Publicly 3-weeks from Today

Special Counsel Robert Mueller will testify in the House next month. On July 17th, the leader of the Russia probe will testify in public sessions of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.

Those sessions will be followed by closed-door meetings where lawmakers can discuss more sensitive subjects. The chairmen of the committees issued a joint statement saying that Americans deserve to hear from Mueller. Mueller's final report on Russian interference in the 2016 election outlined the lengths Russia went to influence the election.

While it didn't find any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, the report also laid out possible instances of obstruction of justice by President Trump, but stopped short of determining whether he committed a crime. The President’s response to the news? Taking to Twitter overnight, he offers, “Presidential Harassment!”
