Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz - who hasnt yet officially launched his independent bid for President, was in town yesterday, testing the waters......making a stop at Miami Dade College, where he criticized the country's divisive politics.
Schultz said "Our dysfunctional two-party system has also fueled political extremism on the far left and on the far right." And, that we need leadership that takes the best ideas from D’s, R’s, and I’s with one pledge of allegiance - to our nation.
Schultz also called for a new kind of capitalism that still allows individuals to prosper, saying South Florida is the home of hundreds-of-thousands of immigrants who came here to flee socialist revolutions that destroyed free enterprise and the rule of law.
Schultz is making a two-day swing through the state that includes a town hall today in Tampa.
