Apple's tenth anniversary iPhone 8 reportedly will set you back just about a thousand dollars.
The "New York Times" reports the latest model of the original smartphone will be priced "around" $999.
According to the "Times," the iPhone 8 also will have the long-rumored face scanner that will replace the fingerprint reader to secure unlocking and mobile payments.
Tech industry buzz has the iPhone 8 being released on the second weekend in September.
