O.J. Simpson could be paroled as soon as October after serving nine years of his 33-year sentence for kidnapping, robbery and assault.
If and when Simpson is let out of prison, he'll be able to cash in $2.7 million in NFL pension benefits. Furthermore, the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman -- whose murders Simpson was found civilly liable for in 1997 -- will not be able to collect any of that sum.
Per the '97 ruling, Simpson owes the two families $33.5 milllion. He's paid very little of that.
