Have you heard of the REAL travel ban? Nevermind temporary restrictions placed on people from seven countries who were named by the Obama Administration as being dangerous hotbeds for terrorism... this one affects Americans.
The IRS can pull the passports of Americans who aren't paying their taxes. The tax agency announced yesterday it's ready to begin enforcing a law Congress passed and now-former President Obama signed more than a year ago.
The law lets Uncle Sam notify the State Department about people who have a seriously delinquent tax debt. The State Department then generally won't issue or renew a passport after getting certification from the IRS. The tax agency says it will start sending those unpaid tax notices to the State Department early this year.
Can't wait to see the protests and outrage over this... one thing it has in common with Trump's Executive Order: it has absolutely nothing to do with being Muslim.
