Coaster Known as "Super Death Speed" Shut Down After Slew of Injuries


A roller coaster referred to as "Super Death Speed" shut down after a slew of injuries. The Do-Doponpa coaster, listed as the world’s fastest-accelerating roller coaster in Japan's Fuji-Q Highland Theme Park, launches riders from zero to 112 miles per hour in just 1.56 seconds.

Reports say that at least six riders have sustained bone fractures in just the last 6-months.
