Let's face it guys: we aren't as enthusiastic about going to the mall as women are, and now a shopping center in China is trying to make those trips a bit easier on unhappy husbands.
The Global Harbour mall in Shanghai has launched a number of "husband storage pods." Each transparent pod includes a TV screen, a keyboard, and video game consoles.
Shoppers can book the pods using QR codes. Local papers report most men liked the pods, though some complained they had no ventilation, and some wives complained they were lonely without their male shopping companions; one even said she was worried her husband might not want to leave the pod when she finished shopping.
Plus, imagine the horror when the wives had to carry their own bags!!!
It's likely only a matter of time before these things start popping up around shopping centers in South Florida... hopefully they get air conditioning installed on those models.
