Cooper City Teens To Be Honored For Life-Saving Efforts During Lunch

A feel-good story out of Cooper City today, where three Cooper City High School students are being called real-life heroes. The teens were inside a restaurant when they noticed a driver outside who was having trouble changing a flat tire.

16-year-olds Logan Royer and Cody Magrone along with 17-year-old Brody Murray went to help and quickly noticed something wasn't right. They called 9-1-1 and first responders determined that man was having a heart attack.

Doctors say the teens' quick action likely saved the man's life. They'll be honored by the city with a proclamation this evening.

Watch bodycam video of the rescue.
