"Days of Remembrance" Observed In South Florida Schools This Week

South Florida High Schools recognizing this week as the "Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust". Miami-Dade School Board member Joe Geller says this is more important than ever with antisemitism skyrocketing across the country. Schools throughout the district are getting instructional resources from the Department of Social Sciences and Holocaust survivors are visiting several schools talking about tolerance. The week coincides with "Holocaust Remembrance Day" Wednesday, honoring the six million murdered Jews.
