Three women face charges of organized retail theft for allegedly stealing $32,000 worth of baby formula.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Debreka Anderson, Elizabeth Hutchins and Geraldine Kitchen targeted several retailers in Broward, Miami-Dade, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach and Polk counties between November of 2024 and January of this year.
The stores included Publix, Target, Winn-Dixie, CVS and Walmart.
There were 47 separate incidents in which the suspects are accused of carrying large bags, purses or covered baby strollers into the stores, filling them with cans of baby formula and walking out without paying.
The cases are expected to be prosecuted as part of a statewide organized retail theft investigation.
