There are some prime viewing spots in Indian River County to watch the Artemis 2 launch, for those who don't want to drive to Cape Canaveral and deal with the hundreds of thousands of people expected to swarm the area.
Treasure Coast watch locations include Sebastian Inlet State Park, Wabasso Causeway Park and the Indian River County Fairgrounds, where spectators are advised to bring safety gear, sunscreen and prepare for crowds.
There are also various beach access areas in Indian River Shores and Tracking Station Beachfront Park in Vero Beach. Folks are told to expect heavy traffic and keep in mind that beaches and causeways will fill up early.
NASA is also providing coverage all day in the lead-up to the launch on the agency's YouTube channel.
The 2-hour launch window opens at 6:24 p.m. tonight.
