A massive tag agency bust in Miami-Dade. Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz says "Operation Ghost Writer" nabbed twenty-two people after a six-month investigation. The fraud scheme involved multiple tag agencies across the county, where clerks unlawfully accessed databases to get personal information and vehicle information. The information was used for fraudulent vehicle title transactions. The suspects face multiple charges including vehicle title forgery and alteration, tampering with evidence, and uttering forged instruments.
