Burn bans have been expanded into Palm Beach and Martin counties as drought conditions worsen.
St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties all enacted burn bans earlier this month.
Due to elevated wildfire risk, all recreational fires are prohibited across the affected counties. This includes campfires, fire pits, fire pit grills, and the burning of yard waste or vegetation until further notice.
