Sweetwater, FL - A Sweetwater man was arrested after police say a disagreement over a livestream inside an apartment escalated into a physical altercation involving a glass bottle.
According to the Sweetwater Police Department arrest report, officers responded to an apartment shortly after 10:15 a.m. Monday following a report of a fight in progress.
When officers arrived, they made contact with Abdulrahman Mukhlefh Almutairi, 26, who allegedly admitted he had been involved in a physical dispute with his roommate.
Police say the incident began while the roommate was livestreaming.
Almutairi allegedly walked in front of the camera, prompting the roommate to tell him not to do it again.
According to the report, Almutairi allegedly ignored the request and walked in front of the camera a second time, stating he did not care that the roommate was broadcasting live.
Investigators say the situation escalated when Almutairi allegedly moved close to his roommate in a confrontational manner.

The roommate reportedly pushed Almutairi with both hands to create distance.
Police say Almutairi then allegedly grabbed a bottle of Grey Goose vodka from a nearby table and struck the roommate on the left side of the head with it.
According to the arrest report, Almutairi told officers he dropped the bottle afterward, and the roommate allegedly jumped on top of him and began striking him.
A friend who was inside the apartment reportedly intervened and separated the two men.
Officers documented a visible bruise on the alleged victim’s head that was consistent with being struck by an object.
The roommate stated he wished to press charges. Almutairi was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery, and the vodka bottle was impounded as evidence.
Jail records show he remained held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with bond listed as to be set.
