Miami-Dade Schools kicking off "Victims of Communism" week with special educational programming teaching students about freedom, human rights and civic responsibility. School Board member Danny Espino advocated for this week to follow the state's "Victims of Communism" Day. He says those costs come in the form of food shortages, human suffering and millions of deaths.
