November is Diabetes Awareness Month.

Dr. Crane NiBlack at Conviva Primary Senior Care says that Type 2 diabetes is one of the most common chronic conditions we see in older adults, and one of the most manageable when addressed early. For seniors, especially those in Hispanic and African American communities, the risks can be greater and the complications more serious. He adds that awareness and screenings coupled with daily support make all the difference in helping patients live longer, healthier lives.
