Only time will tell if Governor DeSantis and Republican lawmakers are back on civil terms after in-fighting over immigration. The most pressing issues remain the cost of living, property insurance and the budget. Many key politicians have left their positions since the last session. DeSantis says he's waiting to appoint a lieutenant governor and chief financial officer until this one ends.
