John Morgan Enters The 2026 Gubernatorial Race Chat

After teasing a run for governor, Florida attorney John Morgan is launching his own political party. Political Scientist Dr. Susan McManus says he has the name recognition and funds to do it, but it won't be easy to sell in a traditional two-party system. Morgan, whose been a big Democrat donor, has bankrolled campaigns to legalize medical marijuana and raise the minimum wage. This news comes a day after Republican Congressman Byron Donalds announced his candidacy for governor.
