Hundreds of South Florida law enforcement officers from several precincts like Miami Beach, Sweetwater and Coral Gables heading to the nation's capital this weekend to help with inauguration security. Miami Police Chief Manny Morales says they're sending fifty-two officers to Washington, D.C. tomorrow. He says they're bringing equipment, like headgear, boots and special socks, since they'll be out in the cold elements. The Department will lean on the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol to help here at home with the "wheels up, guns down" campaign this holiday weekend.
