A member of the Hockey Hall of Fame is involved in a new indoor ice rink complex that was approved last night by the Palm Beach Gardens City Council.
Wayne Gretzky is lending his support to the $40-million project that will be built near Palm Beach Gardens High School.
It will feature two NHL-sized rinks dedicated to youth hockey and public skating. Gretzky plans to host the Gretzky Hockey School at the complex.
There will also be a restaurant, retail and training space on site.
The goal is to have the complex completed by the summer of next year.
