The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating a police-involved shooting in Boca Raton.
Police say an officer encountered the suspect before Noon today at the corner of Second Avenue and Second Street and "at some point during that encounter, the officer fired his weapon."
The male suspect has died, while the officer was not hurt.
Details have not been given about what type of encounter it was and no names have been released.
