The Palmetto Bay Village Council meeting tonight to discuss next steps after Miami-Dade gets the green light to go forward with a controversial bridge project. Mayor Karyn Cunningham says they can ask for a new hearing or appeal the ruling to the state supreme court. The village sued to stop the county from building the bridge on Southwest 87th Avenue over Cutler Canal. Residents worry it will lead to congestion, noise and other quality-of-life problems.
