There are multiple reports Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is approving a ceasefire deal "in principle" with Hezbollah. University of Miami Middle East expert Ira Sheskin says this would mean thousands of Israelis who have had to leave their homes along the northern border can return. As far as the war in Gaza goes, he doesn't expect that situation to change until Hamas is completely defeated and an alternative government goes into the region.
