In a significant decision, Florida voters have approved Amendment 2, enshrining the right to hunt and fish in the state constitution. This amendment, which required a 60% supermajority to pass, aims to preserve these activities as public rights and preferred methods for managing wildlife.

Supporters argue that this measure will protect cultural traditions and contribute to conservation efforts.

Opponents have concerns about negative impacts on wildlife and private property rights.
