FLORIDA - A tropical disturbance is currently forming in the southwestern Caribbean Sea, with forecasters predicting an 80% chance of it developing into a tropical depression over the next week.

While the exact track and intensity of the system remain uncertain, it's worth noting that November is typically a quieter period for tropical activity.

However, the current warm ocean temperatures and atmospheric conditions could fuel the development of this system.

Florida residents should continue to monitor the situation, as any significant shift in the system's track could potentially impact the state.

However, the immediate forecast for the U.S. mainland remains relatively calm.

Meanwhile, Subtropical Storm Patty is currently located west of the Azores and is expected to weaken over the next few days.
