FLORIDA - NOAA Hurricane Hunters flew their WP-3d Orion NO43 aircraft directly into Hurricane Milton on Tuesday, capturing dramatic footage of the storm's turbulent conditions.
The crew experienced significant turbulence, with torrential rain obscuring the plane's propellers through the window.
At the time of the flight, Milton had wind speeds of 155 mph, just 1 mph below Category 5 status.
